PROTEST PROTEST PROTEST
All uniport students by this memo, are directed to embark on a 48 hours stay away from school/classes on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY ,16TH & 17TH of April 2013, as a mark of protest against many injustice and highhandedness of the JOSEPH AJIENKA- LED MANAGEMENT.
Greatest nigerian students,this is the time to speak against the administration of:
1] UNENDING DEATHS of both staffs and students.
2] YEARLY increase in school fees
3] FAILING infrastructure and welfare
4]24 HOURS constant black out on campus
5]EMBEZZLEMENT of over N60,000,000 (sixty million naira) meant for students Union building
6]DEATH to our Union and once bubbling student hostels
7] and so many more
All course reps are hereby requested to take note of this directives and notify their lecturers accordingly.
UNIPORT STUDENTS,this is the time to stand up for what we deserve,considering the amount we pay as school fees.
ENOUGH is ENOUGH, UNIPORT STUDENTS ARE NOT FOOLS!!!

ReplyDeleteDo u fink we pay sch fees in uniport?ask ur brodas,sistas,& frnds in futo,unizik,unn,oau,uniben and oda universities hw much dey pay as sch fees den u wud kw hw lucky u r.most of uniport students r 4rm d oil producing states(niger delta),ur states pay u bursary,scholarships r being awarded u 2 pple every year.let's b reasonable.if u r protesting abt d sch fees,I say its a wrong move rather u can protest abt d non-functional SUG,d late election and swearing in,d high price of food.dats my own opinion sha

ReplyDeleteIf dis iz about SUG plzz we don't need SUG, Sug cause nussance and cultism in uniport, we better stay without dt student union govt, and about school fee's if hez increasing for d betterment of uniport students den he should go ahead but if derz no sign of improvement after increase of school fee's den he should leave d sit, and besides we're iz d 60,000,000,... ReplyDeleteIt is vry bad a universiity to function witout an SUG no matter wat.for d past 2yrs naw,our social life here is in a mess.high cost of living and pure neglect of. Basic. Standards.d protest shuld b a peaceful one.d VC needs to be cautioned cos nigerian students are great assest to d country @ large.we must be pro-active and our voice must be heard @ al times.we d students are a major stakeholders here,witout us there is no VC and uniport and as such shuld consider d students in al ramifications.I rest my case.long live Nigerian student.SUG must come back.Aluta must continue til victoria is ascertained
