SCHOOL OF BASIC STUDIES PROGRAMME FOR 2015/2016 SESSION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Basic Studies Programme of the University of Port Harcourt for the 2015/2016 academic session.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess WASSC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEBOrdinary Level with credit passes in at least 5 relevant subjects. See Table below for further details.

SCREENING EXERCISE
The Screening Test will be Computer-Basedand shall be conducted on Thursday, September 10, 2015.Venue: ICTC, University Park (Abuja Campus), University of Port Harcourt.
Materials Needed for the Screening Exercise
Candidates are required to come with the following and be at the Venue by 7.00am
· A clear copy of Photocard printed online
· Biro, HB pencil, eraser
· Non – Programmable Calculator
REGISTRATION
Registration of successful candidates will be announced in due course.
NOTE
AT
THE END OF THE PROGRAMME, SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES REQUIRE THE NATIONAL
MINIMUM SCORE IN THE 2016 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION
(UTME) AND MUST HAVE CHOSEN UNIPORT TO TRANSIT TO YEAR 1
PROGRAMMABLE
CALCULATORS OF THE FX – 991ES SERIES, MOBILE PHONES, IPOD AND SIMILAR
GADGETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE SCREENING VENUE.
