NIGERIA AT 53. WHAT HAVE WE ACHEIVED.

Today everyone is rejoicing that naija is 53. The big question is, are we rejoicing that the country is getting older without further development, or that students are sitting at home, due to the Asuu strike. The question is between you and i. Is our country progressing, or is it depreciating like the value of the naira currency.
What is the reason for our celebration. I am proudly nigerian, yes.

God has blessed this country with mineral resources and no natural disasters, but human disasters are everywhere. Boko haram, bombing and killing innocent citizens everyday in the North. Crisis here and there in the north. Politicians fighting each other in our very eyes, and even knocking out their opponents with maces, is that what is right?
I am celebrating this 53rd independence by faith of a better tomorrow. But the big question remains...When will tomorrow be better?
