THIS IS TO INFORM ALL GRADUATES/UNDERGRADUATES OF UNIPORT
THAT THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT HAS FIXED 2nd August 2018 For the hearing of the Suit filed by graduated students of the university of port harcourt.
Recall that the university has asked students who has already graduated, finished clearance, and most of which were issued certificates to repeat one full academic session/final year, some were demoted to various levels.
The students has for the past two years been appealing to the university of port harcourt to grant them a fair ground haven graduated already and passed all exams. The school management told the students to pay an extra school fee to get their certificates which the student obeyed but to no avail.
The students has decided to express their right by seeking judicial justice. The suit has been granted hearing by the federal high court on Tuesday 2nd August 2018.
All students affected are adviced to appear to show solidarity with their colleagues who filed the suit on behalf of over one thousand students.
Victory is sure because there is no law in the country that permits or empowers such action taken by the university not even the university’s constitution or academic policy.
Students should come out en mass and flood the court room!!!
Tuesday 2nd day of August 2018, it is before Court five, first floor of the new federal highcourt building, the court is no 5.
👉Please all concerned should be in Court on that day before 9am.
