Uniport has sure brought out numerous stars, shining in the radar including a winner of project fame. The University in undergoing some serious advancement when it comes to entertainment and some entertainers have brought the spotlight to themselves. 

Here is a list of our top 10 Artistes, which includes both recent graduates and still students of uniport. Please read for your viewing pleasure.

10. Tony Chris

Tony Chris is a graduate of engineering in UNIPORT, who has been in the music scene for a while now. He has dropped series of songs that has made waves to Port Harcourt DJs and his tune is danceable. Amongst his top tracks are “Biakene, feeling my guitar, Tewe and Ding Dong”. He recently did his unveiling concert tagged UNVIELING OF TONY CHRIS. It’s no mistaken, that future in the Nigerian music industry has a shining light.

9. Sam X

Samuel Eddies whose real name is Sam X remains one of the most influential Artist to come through UNIPORT. His unique style of blending singing with rap got the attention combined with his cool attitude and swag life, no doubt he has created his own distinguishing personality. Sam X has been featured on Linda Ikeji and has performed on stages of uniport. His song featuring Bobby Bankz titled Twerk it x2 was a music buzz for unique students. No doubt his name rings a “Twerk” in the ears of a large number of uniport crowd.

8. Mr Kleff

Mr Kleff remains the guy that gets all students dancing whenever he comes on stage. His song “gyrate” is compared to the hit song of 2008 “hip hop gyration”. The tune which has a relatable igbo flavor and the afro beat vibe, is one song that has branded this fast rising star. At the presence of Mr Kleff, everybody gyrates. No doubt his talent is taking him places.

This talented singer, known as August Chukwuma combines his awesome vocals with his guitar skills. His voice has given him a large number of female fans and his dedication to his music is not questionable. His new song “Let me” and “Beautiful” featuring Pamella Scott are showcases his true vocals. There is definitely no holds to where this Artiste is going.

6. Dandizzy

This music goon has succeeded in stealing the hearts of unique student with his stage presence and rap style. Dandizzy is one artiste at the top of his rap game and his ability to flow on freestyle with anything he sees just makes him exceptionally outstanding. He did a panda rmx and his recently released song “Bakassi” seem to be buzzing on every uniport student’s phone.

5. Benjiszzy

He is a single individual that changed the face of gospel music in the environs of uniport and Port Harcourt as his vocal voice is gradually covering Nigeria. The true son of a King, who goes by the name, Benjiszzy Zaaki, has become a music voice that everyone needs to hear. Releasing heart felt spiritual and graceful songs almost on weekly basis, the Gospel singer and rapper has taken music to another level. His song titled “Another Saturday” made fast wave and remains a hit gospel track for everyone to listen to. Numerous singles like “Father, Bethlehem, My King” and recently released a new track titled “Oluwa lo gan mi”. Music obviously flows in his veins and the sky seems to be just a starting point to where this Artiste is going.

4. Exsess

Exsess remains an amazing talented young act who has dropped hit songs and dance tune that shook radio stations. He even released a Uniport Anthem and a remix. His hit single, “ONLY YOU” is still a club banger and his track WISH DAY which was a black magic cover, is really magic.

3. Bobie E

One proud son straight out of UNIPORT is this credible and wonderful youngster. The singer, model and Actor, whose real name is Ezekwe Kingsley Uche has becoming an international music sensation. His credibility is unquestionable, with a sense of class and standard to his Artistry. Bobie E has no doubt branded himself amongst many other Artiste. He recently released his 5 track EP titled S.U.Y.A., which is one of the mostly talked about EPs in the last month. Currently been sold in international music outlets like “Spotify, Napster, Amazon and itunes”, this talented individual has represented well in all ramifications.

His songs are currently been aired in all areas of the world and he was recently endorsed by a United States Marine “Keith Valentine”, making him the first African Singer to be endorsed by the Military arm of the U.S 

2. CPA

His consistency, rap style, dedication, talent and grace has but CPA on the frontlines of Rappers from University of Port Harcourt. Chidi Peters also known as C.P.A is a graduate of theatre Arts and Film Studies. He has released a countless number of songs though amongst his hit tracks are MORE & MORE ft. Rizzy A , Corner ft. Slowdogg and Onye boots which dropped recently. More & More video is stilled been played on Sound city and MTV base. This rapper is lyrically blessed and he has pushed his way up on the Music scene.

1. Legendary Suni 

We have to give honour to whom honour is due and the Legendary Suni has built a legacy in the minds of those who know him. His soothing voice and amazing vocals combined with his gentle man prowess has captured the hearts of many, especially his female fans. His fame came fast climbing after he performed his pidgin English cover to John Legend’s hit song “All of me” which went as viral as a hit on Coke Studio tour, which he won eventually. His hit single “My muse”, Sky rocketed the star’s presence and it was obvious his music gift cannot be overlooked.

Constantly been selected to represent uniport in music at the Kinabuti “Dare2Dream” yearly, this amazing act has grown in branding, music, talent, grace and credibility. He is called to almost every entertainment show in the University of Port Harcourt. His new single “You Know” is a hit song that had over 6000 thousand downloads in the first hours of release. No doubt Legendary Suni is living upto his name.
