STUDENTS MUST PAY FOR DAMAGES - UNIPORT VC SPEAKS

• The VC said that students must pay for damages.

• No school fees , No Exam Policy still stands..

• UNIPORT owes over 250 Million naira to PHDC for gas power plant refill.

He said that their visit to the family of Late Mr Peter made them understood that one of the uncles of late Mr Peter is extremely rich. According to the V.C the uncle said he gives him school fees once it's January for the past four years but research by the university showed that late Mr Peter only Paid his school fees in year one and is owing the school three year.

The Vice Chancellor still stood on his words that the only demand of the students which the university can meet is permitting them the students to immortalize SUG Secretariat for Dead Comr. Peter.
He added that the school funds all her diverse activities without any support from the federal Government.
He added that if anyone is not comfortable with the UNIPORT standard should immediately apply for change of institution and the university will immediately transfer them.

He said exams must be written in batches.

HE FINALLY ADDED THAT HE'S WORKING ON HOLDING AN INTERNATIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE TO AIR OUT HIS MIND AND THAT OF THE STUDENTS FOR COMPARISON AND PUBLIC JUDGEMENT

He said people came encouraging him to demobilize all groups for peace to restore ie Pay NANS ZONE B, SUG ETC.
Hence, he said that most students leaders have built houses, buy cars etc with the demobilization fees they've been collecting over years ago but added that he is paying no one, no kobo for any demobilization adding that the school is owing so much debt. Peculiar charges stands.

He said exams must be written in batches.

He also said that the school is owing shell for gas supplied to the school for her gas plant which will be disconnected today if not paid is TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION NAIRA OWING POWER HOLDING COMPANY ie (NEPA) 30 MILLION.

The school is also OWING THE TRUCK COMPANY THAT STUDENT LOOTED THEIR GOODS ON THE PROTEST DAY 6 MILLION NAIRA.

YEAR ONE UNNEGOTIABLE... IF YOU DIDN'T PAY COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

Most importantly, NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE CAMPUS WITHOUT ID CARD..
