ADMISSION INTO GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT AND TOURISM – 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION

                                                                   
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the B.Sc Degree Programme in Geography and Environmental Management, Faculty of Social Sciences, andHospitality Management and Tourism, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Port Harcourt for the 2013/2014 academic session.

1.       DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

         

          ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should possess the following:

WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB	UTME SUBJECTS	REMARKS
Five O’ Level Credits in: (a)        English Language (b)        Geography (c)        Any other three subjects from Economics, Commerce, Government, CRK/IRK, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agric Science, Mathematics (d)        In addition to the five credits, at least a pass in Mathematics is compulsory, if Mathematics is not inclusive in the five credits.	English Language, any three subjects in Arts, Social Sciences or Science, Geography is NOT compulsory in the UTME subjects. [Must have a minimum of 180 and above in the 2013/2014 UTME].	Only candidates who meet the required UTME and PUTME Scores will be considered for admission.

2.       DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT AND TOURISM
       
          ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should possess the following:

WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB	UTME SUBJECTS	PUTME SCORE
Five O’ Level Credits in: (e)        English Language (f)          Mathematics (g)        Economics (h)        Any other two from -       Government/History, Geography, Commerce, Accounting [Finance/Business], Literature in English, Christian Religious Studies/CRK; Science Subject – Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Agricultural Science.	English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject [Must have a minimum of 180 and above in the 2013/2014 UTME].	Only candidates who meet the required UTME and PUTME Scores will be considered for admission.

Interested candidates should apply in their own handwriting, with a photocopy of their UTME, PUTME and O/L Result Slips, and submit in person to:
