Yesterday, the date announced on radio as regards to the reopening of university of Port Harcourt has proven to be a mere rumour.
The school officially released a statement on the school's website at the early hours of today to contrast whatever we heard. This is what the school says:
This is to inform all students that the Senate of the University is yet to approve date for resumption of academic activities.
The revised Academic Calendar for the 2015/2016 Academic Session will be made available on the University website when duly approved by the Senate of the University. Thank you.
